Sebastian Ioan Burduja (born 1985) is a Romanian economist and National Liberal Party politician, educated at Stanford, Harvard and the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies, formerly with the World Bank.

Burduja graduated from Stanford University in 2008, completed a joint public policy and business degree at Harvard and took a doctorate in economics and international affairs at the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies in 2019. He worked as a consultant at Dalberg Global Development Advisors in 2011-2012 and as a development specialist at the World Bank from 2012 to 2015. He was Deputy Minister of Finance in 2019-2020, a member of the Chamber of Deputies for Bucharest from December 2020, Minister of Research, Innovation and Digitalization from May 2022 to June 2023 and Minister of Energy from June 2023 to June 2025. He became president of the National Liberal Party in Bucharest in December 2024 and an honorary advisor to the Prime Minister in August 2025.
