Positions
Wikipedia's Portuguese article records that Grass backed Marina Silva for president in 2018. As a district deputy he sponsored laws in 2019 on a women-only car on a Brasília bus rapid transit line, biodegradable plastic bags, intensive-care visiting rights and protection of native Cerrado vegetation. In March 2020 he filed an impeachment request against President Jair Bolsonaro, citing attacks on the press and institutions and conduct during the Covid-19 pandemic. He is an ally of the Lula government, in which he served. Wikipedia describes his party, the PT, as centre-left and social democratic.
