Career

Busch was a municipal councillor in Uppsala from 2010 to 2015. In April 2015, at 27, she became the youngest leader of the Christian Democrats. She entered the Riksdag in September 2018 after an election in which, as Wikipedia notes, her party had its best result in twelve years. In March 2019 she was the first party leader to say publicly that she was willing to cooperate with the Sweden Democrats. Since October 2022 she has been Deputy Prime Minister and a minister in the government of Ulf Kristersson.
