History
The alliance was established on 25 July 2002 to contest parliamentary elections. Indulis Emsis became Prime Minister in 2004 and Raimonds Vējonis President in 2015-2019. It peaked at 21 seats in 2014 and won 16 in 2022. The Latvian Green Party left in 2022, leaving the Latvian Farmers' Union, For Latvia and Ventspils, and the Latvian Social Democratic Workers' Party.
