The party was founded on 4 July 2022 by Jūlija Stepaņenko and Ļubova Švecova. In the 2022 Saeima election it won 3.28% and no seats, though three of its figures had sat as independents in the previous Saeima. In 2024 it won 2.65% in the European Parliament election and no seat. It ran with the Alliance of Young Latvians in the 2025 municipal elections and in 2026, when it won 11.87% (94,211 votes) and 15 seats.
