History
The party was established on 25 February 2017, growing out of a social-democratic NGO founded in 2011. It won 2.63% in 2018 and no seats, 6.23% and 10 seats in 2022, and 7.98% and 10 seats in 2026. In the 2024 European Parliament election it won 7.53% and one seat, and in the 2025 Riga City Council election 16.62% and 11 seats. It joined the Siliņa coalition government in September 2023 and left it in May 2026, returning to opposition.
