The party was established on 26 February 2021 by Aleksejs Rosļikovs and Valērijs Petrovs, who split from the Social Democratic Party "Harmony". In the 2022 Saeima election it won 62,168 votes (6.88%) and 11 seats. In the 2024 European Parliament election it received 2.00% and no seat. By February 2026 its parliamentary faction had disbanded after several members left, citing pressure and differing views on the faction's direction. In the 2026 Saeima election it won 2.03% of the vote and no seats.
