He belongs to no party and was among the first candidates the student movement presented, on 10 September 2026. He was 188th on the Student List – Students Win, which won the most votes in the Serbian parliamentary election of 25 October 2026.

Career

Đurić graduated from the University of Belgrade's Faculty of Law in 2016 and passed the judicial examination in 2019. He worked at the Basic Court in Obrenovac before moving to the Higher Court in Belgrade, where he has worked in court administration and in the civil and criminal departments, drafting decisions and preparing cases for trial. He has trained in the digitalisation of the judiciary, whistleblower protection, human rights and juvenile justice, and was an observer in a working group drafting judicial legislation. As president of the Judicial Union, which says it has just over 1,000 members from more than 80 judicial bodies, he accused Justice Minister Nenad Vujić in September 2025 of insulting judicial staff after mediation over the union's strike demands was halted. On 2 February 2026 judges and prosecutors in six cities stopped work at the union's call.

Positions

Đurić opposed the amendments to the judicial laws proposed by Serbian Progressive Party MP Uglješa Mrdić and signed by President Aleksandar Vučić in early 2026, calling them a 'coup d'état' by the executive and saying they in effect dismantled the Prosecutor's Office for Organised Crime. In June 2026 he said the Venice Commission's preliminary opinion had found nine of ten provisions out of line with European standards, accused Vujić of misleading the public, and said the three most harmful provisions remained after the ministry dropped seven. At the list's campaign launch in Novi Sad he asked why, almost two years after the canopy collapse, there was still no indictment, called Vučić the organiser of a criminal group, called a Student List victory 'the only chance for accountability' and for a brave judiciary, and urged judges and prosecutors who would rule on the election not to give in to fear.
