He was sports director of the Athletics Federation of Serbia until he resigned in 2025, and belongs to no party. He was 178th on the Student List – Students Win, which won the most votes in the Serbian parliamentary election of 25 October 2026.
Career
Competing for AK Vojvodina, Dudaš won decathlon bronze at the 2008 World Junior Championships and at the European Under-23 Championships of 2009 and 2011. He finished sixth at the 2011 World Championships in Daegu with a national record and fourth at the 2012 European Championships, and took heptathlon bronze at the 2013 European Indoor Championships in Gothenburg with a national record of 6,099 points. Later in 2013 he raised the decathlon record to 8,275 points in Moscow. After Achilles tendon surgery in 2014 he won decathlon bronze at the 2016 European Championships in Amsterdam; he did not finish the Olympic decathlon in 2012 or 2016. He has received the May Award. After his sporting career he earned a master's degree at University College London and served as sports director of the Athletics Federation of Serbia.
Positions
Dudaš resigned as the federation's sports director in early 2025, saying he could no longer support the values it represented and would not accept 'athletics without transparency, freedom and integrity'; in January 2026 he added that things in the federation were badly set up and run selectively, without a real plan. He backed the student-led protests after the canopy collapse in his home town, took part in protest actions including the walk from Belgrade to Novi Sad before the first anniversary, and said 2025 would be remembered for 'the awakening of young people', while regretting that the tragedy still had no epilogue. Nedeljnik noted that he had repeatedly shown unequivocal support for the students. When the list was submitted on 14 September 2026 he carried one of the boxes of signatures and wrote: 'A cool head and a fiery heart.'
