An MP in five terms, she has been a deputy speaker of the National Assembly and chair of its foreign affairs committee since 2024, and she represented the SNS list in an N1 television debate of the 2026 campaign. She was 5th on the list Aleksandar Vučić – United Serbia, which came second in the Serbian parliamentary election of 25 October 2026.
Career
Born in Belgrade, Raguš graduated in political science and international relations. She joined the Serbian Radical Party (SRS) in Voždovac in 1996 and was Yugoslavia's deputy minister of information in 1999–2000. She sat in the National Assembly for the SRS from 2007 to 2012 and, as N1 recalls, was active in the committee defending Vojislav Šešelj before the Hague tribunal. She stayed with the Radicals at the 2008 split, withdrew from them after 2009 and was out of politics from 2012. In 2020 she returned as second on Aleksandar Šapić's Serbian Patriotic Alliance list and led its group; when the alliance merged into the SNS in 2021 she joined it and was elected to its presidency. Re-elected on SNS lists in 2022 and 2023, she became deputy speaker on 20 March 2024 and chairs the foreign affairs committee and the friendship group with China.
Positions
Receiving a Chinese delegation in October 2024, Raguš said the 'steel friendship' founded by presidents Xi Jinping and Aleksandar Vučić was withstanding challenging times. In N1's pre-election debate of 15 October 2026, where she represented Aleksandar Vučić – United Serbia, she called the pardons Vučić granted to 49 people before leaving office an act of mercy and said the question why their names were secret should be put to him; N1 reported that she did not answer it. Told that Vučić had 78% of the airtime monitored on five national channels from 11 to 30 September, she said this was not contentious because the president works hard and the media are obliged to follow him.
