She was 9th on the list Aleksandar Vučić – United Serbia, which came second in the Serbian parliamentary election of 25 October 2026.

Career

Born in Kraljevo, Vukićević became known in the late 1980s through Bolji život (1987–91) and films such as Žikina dinastija (1985), Lutalica, in which she had the lead, Špijun na štiklama and Vampiri su među nama. She joined the Serbian Radical Party (SRS) in 2004 and sat in the National Assembly from 2007 to 2012, staying with the SRS at its 2008 split; she left it in 2012 after its electoral defeat, objecting to the promotion of Vjerica Radeta. According to Nova.rs she has held seats on the council and later the assembly of the state-owned publisher Prosvetni pregled since 2013, stood on the SNS list in Belgrade's 2020 election and appeared at SNS events in 2023 and 2024. N1 noted she was the highest-placed actor on the SNS list of 2026.

Positions

In December 2024 Vukićević left the Association of Dramatic Artists of Serbia objecting that the Association of Film Actors of Serbia had issued what she called almost binding instructions to support the students' demands, writing that she would 'always choose the interest of Serbia, which President Vučić has raised to unimagined heights' and would fight for Serbia's neutrality and freedom. In 2012, still in the SRS, she had urged those she said Tomislav Nikolić and Vučić had deceived to return to the Radicals, Nova.rs recalls.

Controversies

In late August 2026, while filming the series Bos il' Hadžija in Sarajevo, she left prayer and broken-heart emojis under an Instagram video tribute to Ratko Mladić, who had died in The Hague, captioned 'General, you will live forever'. A criminal complaint for inciting national, racial and religious hatred was filed against her with the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the Hype production company ended its work with her. She said she did not feel guilty and would keep mourning Mladić. The September 2026 reports give no decision by the prosecutors on the complaint.
