He was the highest-placed of the three candidates from Novi Pazar on the list. He was sixth on the Student List – Students Win, which won the most votes in the Serbian parliamentary election of 25 October 2026.

Career

Mavrić grew up in Novi Pazar and studied international relations for five years on a scholarship at Sakarya University's Faculty of Political Science, concentrating on diplomacy and conflict resolution. While studying he worked in international sales and logistics and was vice-president of the Balkan Student Organisation; after graduating he worked as a communications specialist on a diplomatic project between Serbia and Turkey. He speaks Serbian, English and Turkish. The students blockading the State University of Novi Pazar presented him in September 2026 as one of the town's candidates on the list.

Positions

Speaking at the list's rally in Novi Pazar on 3 October 2026, Mavrić named air pollution, the state of the health service, party-based hiring and nepotism as the town's main problems, pledged to end "partocracy and nepotism", and called for transparent public competitions, meritocracy and an end to fake diplomas. He said patients needing serious treatment were often sent from the Novi Pazar general hospital to Kragujevac or Belgrade, backed residents opposing exploration on Rogozna mountain and the Golo brdo landfill, and said the success of emigrants abroad showed the problem lay in the system. On election night he told supporters in Novi Pazar that citizens would "finally live in a free state" and that the work was only beginning (Insajder).
