Career
Vučević, a lawyer, joined the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) in 2008. He was mayor of Novi Sad for three terms from 2012 to 2022, Minister of Defence and Deputy Prime Minister from October 2022 to May 2024, and president of the SNS from May 2023. He became Prime Minister on 2 May 2024. After the Novi Sad railway station collapse and the student-led protests that followed, he resigned, and his government ended in 2025 (Wikipedia gives January for the resignation and 16 April 2025 for the end of his term).
