In April 2025 the Criminal Police Directorate questioned Đokić for about three hours after a criminal complaint alleging abuse of office, filed after his support for the student protests. He said he did not believe he had committed any offence and called the complaint one against the whole academic community. Government officials and pro-government tabloids have portrayed him as the protests' mastermind, according to Wikipedia. The N1 report does not say how the matter has been resolved.
