Panot was born on 15 January 1989 in Tours and earned a master's degree in international relations at Sciences Po in 2013. She volunteered with the anti-poverty organisation ATD Quart Monde from the age of eighteen and worked as a team manager at the social enterprise VoisinMalin in Grigny. She was elected to the National Assembly for Val-de-Marne's 10th constituency in June 2017, became first vice-president of the La France Insoumise group in June 2019 and has presided over it since October 2021.
