Knafo studied at Sciences Po and Panthéon-Sorbonne before graduating from the École nationale d'administration. She sat on the Cour des Comptes from January 2020 to July 2024 and advised Éric Zemmour's 2022 presidential campaign. She was a member of the UMP and The Republicans from 2011 until 2021, then joined Reconquête. Elected to the European Parliament on its list in 2024, she sits in the Europe of Sovereign Nations group. In the 2026 Paris municipal election she took 10.4% in the first round, finished fifth, and withdrew to back Rachida Dati.
