Solidariedade was founded on 25 October 2012 by Paulo Pereira da Silva, known as Paulinho da Força, of the union federation Força Sindical. It supported Lula in 2022 and in February 2023 merged with the Republican Party of the Social Order (PROS), keeping the name Solidariedade.
