Controversies
In 2016 he made remarks about Romani children in a radio speech. The Specialised Criminal Court later convicted him of defaming a nation, race and belief and fined him 5,000 euros. In September 2019 the Supreme Court upheld the conviction and raised the fine to 10,000 euros, according to Wikipedia; the ruling is final. He lost his parliamentary seat as a result. In May 2026 rival candidate Samuel Migaľ criticised him for being legally convicted of extremism, as reported by Noviny.sk.
