He was named the party's candidate for President of Kraków in the 2026 early election, but the electoral commission refused to register him on 8 September 2026 because 122 valid support signatures were missing. He did not stand in the election of 27 September 2026.

Career

Bocheńczak was Confederation's candidate for the early mayoral election in Kraków. According to the Polish Wikipedia page on the vote, his committee submitted 5,034 support entries, of which 2,745 were valid, short of the 3,000 required. Notes from Poland reported that over 2,000 of the signatures were invalid because signatories gave their residence address rather than their registered address, and that party leader Sławomir Mentzen called it an embarrassment and dismissed him as the local party head.
