Liptáková studied agricultural economics from 1988 to 1993. She was mayor of the Brno district Maloměřice a Obřany in 2010–2014 and 2016–2022, deputy mayor of Brno in 2014–2016, a Brno city councillor in 2014–2018, and a South Moravian regional councillor in 2012–2016 and again since 2024. In KDU-ČSL she was vice-chair from 2010 to 2015; she left the party in 2024 and joined PRO. For 2026 she heads the Brno naplno coalition list of Trikolora, Svobodní and PRO, supported by Moravané and the Moravian Land Movement.
