Positions

Bains's leadership platform centres on an "Ontario Deal" for regional economic development, job creation and access to housing, under the slogan "Let's Lead Again." Wikipedia lists endorsements from MPP Andrea Hazell, several federal MPs including Karina Gould and Yasir Naqvi, and former MPP Brad Duguid. In 2011 he criticised a Bloc Québécois move to ban ceremonial kirpans from Parliament, calling it the politics of fear.
