Career
St-Pierre Plamondon was born on 17 February 1977 and studied law at McGill University (2001) and at Lund University, then took an MBA at Oxford's Nuffield College (2006). He worked as a lawyer, co-founded the non-profit Génération d'idées in 2007 and co-hosted the Radio-Canada show Génératrice in 2011. He lost the 2018 race in Prévost, won the PQ leadership in 2020 with 56 per cent in the third round, and won Camille-Laurin in 2022 with 41.68 per cent. In the 5 October 2026 election the PQ rose from 7 seats to 59 with 28.02 per cent of the vote.
