Ferancová was born on 8 October 1967 and graduated from the Slovanské gymnázium in Olomouc in 1986 and from Masaryk University's Faculty of Law in 1995. She worked at the firm Olma from 1986 to 2010, including as head of personnel and in-house counsel, then at the Prostějov municipal office and in personnel posts at Czech Post and Military Forests and Estates. An ANO member since 2014, she has been an Olomouc councillor since 2014, a regional councillor since 2020 and deputy mayor from 2022 until she succeeded Miroslav Žbánek as mayor in January 2026.
